A long time resident of DeSoto County, Johnny Coleman has grown his residential construction company into one of the largest and most respected in the North Mississippi area.

He is a graduate of Southaven High School and the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. Immediately after college, Johnny began his real estate business by obtaining his real estate license and selling new homes. He eventually gravitated toward home-building and started his own building company over 15 years ago. During the past eight years his company has averaged over 100 new starts per year.

Johnny Coleman is a true example of a builder being involved. During 1999, he served as president of the North Mississippi Home Builder's Association and on the board of directors of the Southaven Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Olive Branch, Hernando, and Horn Lake Chamber of Commerce, DeSoto County Economic Development Council, and the Northwest Mississippi Board of Realtors.
